Yes, and other mmo games let you pay monthly or they make it pay to win.
Either way you're paying.
As for now i still like the game allthough alpha is nothing more than some idiots who used bugs an exploits to run around with serieus firepower killing everyone for fun.
But i believe when the game is finished it will be worth it :)

I don't recommend. I've done some research about the game, the game developer and their prior projects.
To me it seems like it will turn out pay2win some time after release.
Also it just looks like they want to jump on the bandwagon. Actually the name indicates that.

Next time add some info, like for example "I love DayZ, hate CoD-Zombies and spend tons of good time in Killing Floor" - with that I can try to know your preferences and tell you would WarZ fit you or not.

Why do they sell it then?

I read some reviews of that game and most critize, that it is not even close to be playable, yet the company rushed the release just for the sake of making money. They recognized the hype around DayZ and now trying to jump on the bandwagon. I really hesitate to trust them, once the game is out i see cash shop with p2w items coming.

Don't get me wrong about the pay2win statement but at the moment this is what their behavior reflects.

if you want to play during the alpha sure why not, if not just wait until release, there is alot of bugs right now, still a fun game.
