Dungeon Defenders VS Orcs Must Die

Dungeon Defenders. More content, maps, classes, weapons, etc. Orcs Must Die! wins in the charm and humor department, but that's about it. However, Orcs is also fun to play and it's enjoyable.

Keep in mind Orcs Must Die 2 is coming out

I think the best thing to do is to add Orcs must die onto the SteamWorkshop

I like both. Dungeon defenders have co-op, so it's better now, but i think Orcs Must Die 2 will be better than Dungeon Defenders.

dungeon defenders is way better because of online multiplayer with up to 7 friends on some maps, if your only into solo playing, "Orcs Must Die" may be fine for you but otherwise i'd say DD is way more entertaining

"Orcs Must Die 2" only features 2 player coop, so i think the game cant compare to DD in terms of long term entertainment with friends.

Dungeon Defenders All the way

it's true, dungeons defender has coop. However, most of coop games are based on your equips, or urs are good enough or u should get out and grind. Also, dungeon defenders have a ton of DLC, and each update has a ton of data... Orcs must die do not have coop oportunity, however, its story is way better, u do not have to grind for hours so u 'get allowed' to play in somebody game... etc.. In my opinion, if you don't have a group of friends to play dungeon defender with, i'd recommend orcs

since I rather have a SP experience, I'd say Orcs Must Die is way much better.
And all those DLC in DD makes me a little bit frustrated and poor.

I found Orcs Must Die much more fun, DD relies way too much on DLC and grinding for levels and better equipment.

I only played Orcs Must Die, so I can't say much either, but I had a ton of fun with it :).

I would say Orcs Must Die! but the multiplayer feature in DD makes it much better

Dungeon Defenders

Dungeon Defenders sucks because of the 84DLCs. I have only the base-game and get BOMBED with DLC News/Patches everytime I start the game.

As usually: I think that Orcs Defenders are better than Dungeon Must Die :P

DD for RPG, OMD for tower defense.

Dungeon defenders :D Orcs gets repetitive quick. Dungeon defenders has a very satisfying level up system, and getting better gear

Orcs must die 2 is coming with an endless mode, meaning infinite enemies. I love that type of gameplay. too bad original OMD did not have it. :(

OMD wins hands down in atmosphere, gameplay, pace, humor, voice acting, you name it. Only downside is there's no multiplayer. I'm willing to bet OMD 2 won't be as original, but still, DunDef was a bit underwhelming.

They look like similar games, but they are not. They have completely different kinds of gameplay. I currently think that there is not much sense in trying to compare them. At the time that they were coming out, I chose DD because it had co-op.
