lol that Publichouse user seems to be contacting everyone who has Overwatch in their Want list. He tried to trade with me. Could barely understand him. Before today he only owned 1 game (CS:GO) and is steam lvl 3 even though his account was created almost 2 years ago. Not saying he's up to no good but he's going to have a very hard time trading anything with an account like that.

I do not understand why anyone would do that in the first place. Just buy the game. Eventually you get the stuff from loot boxes anyway same with levels, no matter how bad you are. Seems like a really dumb risk to take.

Not necessarily disagreeing with your overall point, but to be fair- you don't necessarily "eventually" get what you want from loot boxes, based on what I know of Overwatch's drop system. Sure, you get a loot box every time you level up, but that takes longer and longer to do every time, meaning the more you play the less loot you get. Plus, drops are completely random and it's possible to get duplicates of items you already have.

Nope. Besides normal coin drops you also get coins for dupes. You can use said coins to pick up the item you want.
The only things you can not pick up with said coins are the stuff from the deluxe ( or what ever its called, forgot ) edition and the pre-order Widowmaker skin.
Do not need to explain the leveling/exp thing since K3K3L already mentioned it. The exp comes fast as long as you simply play the game as well. Of course getting gold medals and winning helps out more but you still get exp just for participating. ( You just have to do at least something, if you join a late game and the team won.. Well you get points for free then. )

Reliable information from a support spokesman confirms that buying accounts from someone is a REALLY BAD IDEA. And no, its not just because it violates Blizzard's ToS.
As long as the original owner's name is tied to the account, he can easily regain control over it. Or at least that applies in case of Blizzard. So it doesn't matter if you change the email, password and mobile number. Original owner can just show up, say he is the original owner, provide identity proof, and steal the account back from under your nose.
