Problem with the steam client

Is anyone else having problems with the steam client? I was already on for a few hours and it suddenly said i had no connection, even though i could still see the shop just fine and everything. I exited the client to try and restart it and now it's telling me it can't connect. My internet works just fine and their website seems to be working aswell.

it might be a bug caused by the fact that they're free this weekend but you should probably contact steam support.
