Logitech mices to play RTS = scrap. And this mice is not expensive, compare to quality. 3500 dpi / 1000 HZ, Awesome to play Starcraft. If u no play starcraft in hight leagues Diamond / Master or other games that u need Quality and accuracy then no need this type of mices.

After a good 18 months or so of use one of the mouse buttons developed some sort of a mechanical hitch. There was a point you couldn't press it beyond without using quite a bit more strength than you'd usually use on a mouse button. Not that I couldn't fix it myself, but I still had warranty, and opening the mouse would void it. But alas, the company I'd bought it from had gone bankrupt and no longer existed. Ah well, send an e-mail to Logitech together with a scan of the receipt, explaining there's a tiny mechanical problem I could probably fix myself, but as that would void the warranty... As a reply I get an e-mail saying they've just mailed me a brand new one. So what do I do? It's quite obvious, isn't it. I take a screwdriver, open the mouse up, spend a good hour or so admiring the way it's been put together, fix the problem, put it back together, and enjoy my once again perfectly working mouse while I wait for a brand new back-up to arrive.

Logitech M305 with nanotech receiver that sticks this far out of the computer. [aa] Love it, have recharged batteries on hand all the time. Only problem is it's thicker and taller, usually what I dont want, but it's grown on me and I actually like it now. Got it for like $15 and has served me well for a while.

Yeah, I wanted a mouse that could play any game. MMO mice can't handle FPS games well and the reverse tends to be true as well. The G700 is great with both. I liked the placement of the buttons more than anything. I use all of them in games. My left hand was never great after I broke it as a child, so I try to push as much to my right hand as possible. I couldn't use a mouse with a few buttons in a game. My left hand would struggle to keep up.

Same here, although I do bother to unplug it :). And it used to be a Logitech MX Revolution before that, and a Logitech Cordless Mouseman Pro before that.
