The dev tools need the game to import assets. The key activates both. The package is called Dying Light Temporary Access though so idk how long you can keep it

Activated this on my account, it appears on library as a full game, and provides cards.
I have not installed it though, and the giveaway email states it is a temp key, so...
Anyone to confirm?

Not sure if it's the full game once it's downloaded but it does appear in my library, says already owned on the steam page, drops cards, and counts as a +1 on my profile.

That confirms it. All giveaways created with those keys are misleading a.k.a. fake.
So far most of them have already been deleted by the creators themselves anyway but I bet there'll be a few ones willing to go on a crusade against of of SG before admitting they made a mistake ':D

IDK, sometimes in old games there were some files missing when you installed them, because they were old or whatever, and you had to find the missing files on the internet to it to work. I just wanted to see if downloading and replacing a file will make the game work, or there are various files missing and that will make the game run difficult.
Personal curiosity, I already own the game on PS4.

Ah okay but in this instance the missing file is the application itself which would be pretty much piracy tbh. Would be fine if it was like some .dll missing or something.
