since uplay keys can not be given away through steamgifts, i would give away the uplay key in the forum. it is the first assassins creed.

If you still have it I would be happy to have it as I have always wanted to give the series a try but have not managed it so far. Starting with one makes sense.
In any case, your generosity is much appreciated and I thank you on behalf of whoever gets the key.

Not perma suspended, "only" two months :D

That must be because a regular support member reviewed the ticket, now they will need to pass it to a mod or higher to make the suspension permanent; I don't see why they wouldn't, that number of infractions is insane (although I've seen worse).

I suppose they will give him the chance to activate the wins before applying a perma ban.

5 days * 13 not activated = 65 days

Too late; perma applied.

A 2 month suspension. Don't think I've ever seen that. But why is that not a permaban?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Permanent suspensions can only be given by moderators or higher, so, as I explained in the above comment, regular support members need to escalate the ticket to a higher up, before closing it.

You should only enter to win giveaways for yourself, and if you win a game, it must be activated and redeemed to the Steam account used during registration.

errrr - this perhaps - but I am just guessing of course

edited - actually - no calling out I guess - so you might want to check yourself on sgtools as perhaps it's a mistake of SGtools reporting wrongly after all !

put your name here http://www.sgtools.info/activation and press enter - hope that helps explain the surprise of the others - it is a bit of a oddity that so many ar unactivated ?

They mean that not activating games is against the rules. So, a rule breaker won't get on the good side of most of the steamgifts users and the creator of the post too. That's what they mean. Just a friendly advice. :P

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, just as Loupou said, you might want to check yourself with the link they provided what everybody else can see - you don't seem to be aware of this rule. And as repeat offenders against it are being permanently banned from this site, well, I thought I might give you a subtle nudge in some direction.

Just curious why did you not just buy the 1.00 tier?I know some will say no funds but this is why i always at least keep 5 bucks for such bundles and the 1.00 tier

Actually i should ask that to all who replied to this thread??

Live in Venezuela, kinda hard to get even 1$ because our government is really fucked up
Heck I can't even get Shantae which is at 1$ on Humble Bundle even tho I really want that game (we don't have access to external currency exchange because... Is a long story, long story short, Chavez)

So you have a steam account with at least $100 worth (requirement to join this site) but not a single dollar to buy yourself a game. Wonder who donated $100 worth games to you in the past.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No, as you can see many of my games have been given away on massive giveaways (which I have no problem, some of them are good) and others I've gotten thru giveaways, considering I have a Steam account over 4 years now (I had one way before that but it had only F2P games) I have accumulated enough and in fact it took me well over 3 years to be able to enter to this site
At first I used Steam companion and the old indiegala, then I found some groups that people do giveaways and, even tho I can't give anything I always chat and try to make the chat alive

Any other question? :)

I was just curious, not trying to be a jerk exploiting someones financial situation, just curious how you can have 440+ games and complain about not being able to spend a single dollar.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No problem, I do get some people don't understand our country situation because it is actually weird, I think we are one of the only countries (with Cuba and North Korea I presume) that have the restriction, we can't use our CC for stuffs outside our country (anything that is not in Bolivares, hard to explain, you can search for CADIVI/Cencoex)

And yes, it really took me a while to get here and believe it or not, it has all being thanks to some awesome people I've found on internet (like damn, someone just saw this comment and gave me Shantae <3 because I said I really wanted it) that have been giving away games because they want to promote their channel or because they just want to give it away, a guy from the Curse group asked me the other day to explain him our country's problem, and he then said, happy xmas, and gave me Hyperdimension Neptunia :D

And I had to change some cards for my 2 giveaways (Erusal) just cause I felt really bad to be here, getting games and not giving anything :/

You don't owe anybody an explanation about your financial situation.
Especially a stupid remark like the one from steamergary

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Good point but I do see why they asked that. You are right they do not owe anyone a reason but it just a question let the person decide if they want to answer.

It is a curious thing though you have to admit to declare they do not have the means or funds to get a 1.00 tier bundle but have enough worth to be on the site it does seem a bit odd.As I said though you are right they do not have to explain themselves but let them decide you ou act as if they are being targeted and forced to answer.

I started the reply in hopes to get more incite as to why people could not but i was not forcing anyone to answer.I was actually expecting a mixed answer.

Examples..

No funds.
I am cheap
Missed the bundle
No way to purchase.

.In fact it seems most ignored it or over looked it anyhow.

I wasn't telling them they shouldn't answer, I meant they don't have to.
The problem with things like this is they can escalate quickly and then suddenly a person who may not have access to paypal, Humble or even a bank account that transfers money ends up having to explain themselves.
Because somebody wanted to gift a key directly and not through a GA?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I understand what you meant but how it came off is not the same.It should be obvious without you stepping in that they do not have to reply and even if someone demanded a reply they could still choose not to reply.

It just seemed when you stepped in it was like someone was really pressuring them to give and answer so you stepped in to say they owe nobody any answer as if one was being demanded. It does not always pay to be the internet police.

I know sometimes I can be too curious about things but that is how you learn but sometimes you get your hand caught in the cookie jar so to speak.

I already answered the guy above, you can read it. I have no problem answering stuffs so yeah... It took me well over 3 years to be able to enter to this site, and yes, it has all been thanks to giveaways from Twitter/Curse/Discord/SteamCompanion/IndieGala/etc

I was in your spot for a long time until my situation changed so while I still can not get whatever I want I am lucky to be able to afford more so I have more choices.Though at times I do have no funds so I miss out on games.I rarely miss out on the 1tier because I save a couple bucks for that purpose.I also only buy bundles that have games I want as to not waste extra funds on stuff I do not want.

I wish i had a spare key I would give you but sadly I bought the 1tier for that game.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No problem dude :) thanks for the intention tho
You don't need to give me anything :D
Yeah it does suck, I got used to tho, I usually watch the streams/gameplays from the games I want and add them to my list of games I want to buy someday (not the steam wishlist, lol) and I hope to get them someday, sometimes I get the game 4 years after it got released but at least I got to play it

Right now I'm trying to do some stuffs that (if it works out) I would get like 2$ per month on PayPal, enough to buy some basic bundles I may like and giveaway some games from it :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

WellI I can say this you do learn to appreciate the games and stuff you get more when you are in that situation.Sadly too many times I see people who buy a lot of stuff and never give it the proper time and chance it deserves because they just buy the next thing they think is better when most of the time what they already have is just as good or better.

As I like to say.....Enjoy what you have now as when tomorrow comes you might not have it to enjoy!

Not all of us have paypal, paypal doesn't support direct bank linking in my country and visa cards don't connect to it without one ( tested it ).
So yea... why wouldn't we buy bundles online? because our countries are shit so we can't xD

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Fair point and I forget about that sometimes that some may not have proper access to get the bundle.

I am not sure what to suggest if you do have funds to buy on Steam though itself get stuff during the sale to sell later and maybe trade keys for some of these bundles?
