Does Nexuiz suck? Does anyone play it?

it's not that bad but nobody's playing it...

I found it nostalgic of Q3A paced FPS. I really enjoyed it. There isn't much depth beyond the modifiers that change (wildly sometimes) the guns and physics, but that's why I liked it. It was a trip back in time with nice graphics.

i really loved it was in the beta and played it during free weekend but didnt buy it coz it hasnt fixed its prob its you still cant play a proper match there is always lag losing connection to server and mainly connecting to a server is its main prob

Probably best to go with Xonotic. Nexuiz was developed from an open-source FPS, but one guy took it commercial against the group's wishes so they created a fork of it. Haven't looked into it myself though

Don't play it. It makes you go yuck.

Honestly speaking, it's not all bad. But it's nothing worth spending more time on. The maps are small and quite interesting to say the truth and the graphics are quite pretty, but the gameplay is just wrong.

Just play Xonotic.

I bought it on Xbox 360, I thought it was pretty fine for a classic styled FPS.

Unfortunately the launch was so bug-ridden that most people stopped playing so there isn't much of a community.

I liked it but it gets boring and loses its nostalgia after a few games.

Yup, it sucks. It's kind of like UT... but less satisfying and way more luck based.

It's okay... I'd probably like it more if I was better at it, and if people actually played it :P
The last game I played it was just me and one other guy. He beat me 30 - 0. You can see why I haven't gone back yet.
