She wouldn't even go online, be it on the forums or on steam, and instead asks me to send it to her email. Tsk. I dislike this attitude. 7 days soon, and I never did say I would send it via email. So, request new winner?

You could wait until "she" can mark it as not received.

You're obliged to send gift be it via chat or email. If she does not activate it, report her and enjoy. Otherwise, it's your fault mate.

How did she ask you that if she wasn't online?

I don't see why you can't e-mail the gift?

I personally dislike sending via email, and prefer to give it in person- at least via trading/talking. It's as if i'm talking to machines otherwise.

I won a giveaway, but haven't received the gift.
The giveaway creator has 1 week to email it before you can mark the gift as "Not received". If it's been more than 24 hours since the giveaway ended try and add the giveaway host to Steam and remind them to send the gift.

How's that a no reason?

Just email it, that's why this site asks for every user to provide a valid email address.

Not everyone is in your timezone, just because they are not online at the same time as you doesn't mean you can re-roll the giveaway.

You speak true. But, I have sent it- albeit I still have time to take it back.

Well then, I see no reason why you should be a member of this site.

Does anyone even bother to read the rules anymore?

Yeah, I always email mine. To be honest, I rather dread having people "friend" me on Steam, because there's always the chance they won't go away afterwards. lol

She should have let me win. I'm online 24/7 to accept it.

She might prefer email as steam chat is impermanent and thus she has a record of the key for whatever reason.

Nothing wrong with asking for email.
