HAPPY XMAS!
I'm pretty sure I'll buy Critter Crunch for my sister, and I'm trying to decide what to get with the rest of my Christmas Steam money.
I'm thinking about a few things:
Blade Ballet, since my family and I enjoyed the demo quite a bit.
Maybe Megadimension VII, I've really wanted to get it, but I still can't decide if I should get it now or wait until I play all the others and stuff.
Maybe Conception II, since the demo I played for 3DS was pretty fun, and the girls are really cute in it, too.
Moekuri is so freakin cute and really tempting, but not much of a discount.
I might get Xmas Shooting even though it's only -10% since it's still pretty cheap.
Umm... Now that I think about it, there's of games I'm thinking about, but I'm really indecisive, lol. XP

So far I've only bought gifts for friends aside from keeping a copy of Broforce from the four-pack. Other gifts were keys.
Purchases:
Broforce four-pack : $11.24, 75% off, $44.99 base price (base price of one game: $14.99).
Ink : $1.99, 60% off, $4.99 base price.
FTL : $2.99, 70% off, $9.99 base price.
Half-Minute Hero (both games as a bundle) : $2.49, 75% off, $9.99 base price.
I also got Pony Island to give a friend but they declined. I'm debating on using it for myself.
Pony Island : $1.64, 67% off, $4.99 base price.
I have... 5, 6 days to figure out what I'll get for myself (if anything).
I'm thinking about Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Heroes of a Broken Land, TRI, The Last Tinker, The Floor is Jelly, the full Blackwell set of games, Moonlight, Subnautica, Saints Row The Third, and Sword of the Stars: The Pit.

Pony Island is a very very weird game. Which is why I've yet to decide on that front. It is surprisingly low for how long it's been out.
Brothers is 85% off. Reviews said it was short which is why I've waited so long but I didn't know how 'short' it was.

I bought The Binding of Isaac Rebirth and Afterbirth as a Christmas gift for one daughter, the Ice Cream Headache DLC for Guild of Dungeoneering as part of a gift for my other daughter, and I got the Hand of Fate DLC for myself. I still have a few bucks that I am undecided about, thought I do love me some 33 cent really crap games with trading cards.

don't forget to eventually get one your daughters the Afterbirth + (i think it's suppose to be a Cross symbol) DLC expansion as well on January 3rd.
it's suppose to be priced at $9.99 but for the 1st week of it's release and for owning the original Afterbirth DLC expansion, it will be temporarily discounted to $6.66.
also i think the cheapest games are at .49 cents or so.

I am not sure if I will have the 6.66 for it then. I would get it for her right away if I could, but money is extremely tight since my husband has been put on disability. The money I have is from selling cards. I knew it was coming on the 3rd from when McMillan himself announced it on the Roundtable Podcast. Some of the 49 cent games are available in bundles with a further discount so the end up being 30 something cents.

Do you have a link for the bundle of bundles? I just got the Just1337 one. Thank you. :)
Nevermind, I actually own everything in the bundle of bundles already lol,

I'm still deciding about whether to get Subnautica. Have you had chance to play it yet?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, been playing it for a couple days while I'm off for the Holiday. Not your typical survival game, but imo it t's very immersive and trippy. It's mainly about exploration and taking risks rather than fighting off hordes.Very mellow and relaxing game game compared to most of the genre.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I already own The Long Dark which I guess could also be described as a mellow survival game, and I really enjoy that. The whole underwater setting of Subnautica just seems really mysterious and cool to me. I'm a bit closer to buying it now :)

VW Bauer.I Had a choice between getting ARK or Subnotica in the Sale and I just wanted to go with something a little more mellow.
But I will say It's a bit of a grind but not like most survivers so you may want to check out 30 min of a let's play or so and see if it suits you:)

Good idea, will probably watch a let's play today :) Btw, I think you made the right choice. I also own ARK and although it's fun to start with it becomes a huge grind and if you're on a public server you basically have no chance of maintaining a home base because every time you go offline it gets destroyed by one of the big tribes. It's also poorly optimized and very buggy. You can probably see similar comments in the reviews section.

Yeah, griefers unfortunately go hand in hand with most survival pvp and even pve in some cases. Also I completely forgot to mention the good thing about Subnautica is you can save manually any time and there is a way to keep your save even after an update :)

That is definitely a good thing! I don't know why the Ark developers haven't done something similar. Not allowing your base to be destroyed while you're offline would also be helpful. It's like they expect you to be online 24/7 :D BTW, I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but is there permadeath in Subnautica or is there just some penalty for dying? I added you to my WL to thank you for all the info :)

Play mode options are :
Survival : Thirst, Hunger, Scavenging for supplies and resources and Creatures that hurt you
Freedom : Like Survival only without hunger or thirst
Hardcore : Permadeath and no oxygen alerts
Creative : Build anything with no constraints
NP at all Bauer, hope you have fun if you do decide to buy it.Also added you you as well :)

I bought This War of Mine (couldn't get the DLC since I didn't have enough money and don't think I'll have it by the end of the sale).
I'm thinking of getting KotoR or Legacy of Kain Defiance so I have the entire Soul reaver saga available on steam

I'm not sure yet. I sold all of my cards before the sale, so I have more money in my wallet than I've ever had before. Also quite a large percentage of games on my wishlist are discounted. So I'm deciding what I want to get now or whether I would rather save what I have for next year's games.
I've mostly had my eye on ABZU and Subnautica of late, so I expect to buy them this time around at the very least. Beyond that I expect to spend more time looking to see which other games on my list are discounted and which of those I most want to play over the next few months.

I've been off from here a while and I wanted to know how all you've been, and how is going Xmas and the sales so I came back to wish you a Merry Xmas or holidays as you wish <3
I was planning not to buy anything since I have so many games that I need to play, but after all I had to, like always...
I've bought StoneHeart, Feel the snow and Lego Harry Potter years 1-4(Never played one of the lego games so this will be my first one).
So what about you guys??
