As has been said you can't go wrong with Just Cause 2 (keep your eyes on this site too) / Elder Scrolls games / Fallout games.
I'll add Assassin's Creed series and Driver San Fran if you like driving.

I'm looking for a good singleplayer game of any sort other then Point and click but preferably something with a fair length storyline I've been hoping to try something new because most of my steam games are Multiplayer and I have few singleplayer game and most of them I've finished (Halflife2, GTA IV, Arma II... etc) I'm hopefully looking for somerthing open world as I have Deus Ex and Just cause 2 on my watch list
