Best games under $5?

I was debating whether to get this (with myself) .
Is it a good game with tight controls ?

You know how some games look great in pics or whatever but actual gameplay has wonky slightly off movement and controls and you can't quite get into them because of that.

A few examples of what i'd call good games with good in-game controls are one's like mafia 2 and 3 or the mass effect games.
Just all round good fun to play.
