Mortal Kombat 9 vs. Injustice vs. Street fighter 4

Mortal Kombat has servers broken, they always lag, Injustice is very similar to Mortal Kombat but not that violent(also imo Mortal Kombat is too violent), even controls are almost same, just more confusing, still good if you like WB characters, I choose Street Fighter IV, because I just like it a lot more.

Controls in Street Fighter are more hard, but you need to memorize less, in Mortal Kombat and Injustice you need to press everything very fast and memorize a lot, once you memorize I think it's easier to control, I still don't like to have to press buttons very fast there to do lots of stuff, so I prefer Street Fighter, also if you learn Street Fighter controls you can learn Skullgirls, BlazBlue, King of Fighters a way easier too.

Doing Ultra Combos in Street Fighter generally is easier than doing Fatalities in Mortal Kombat, at least imo.

i have street fighter and injustice but i vote for mortal kombat, thats the best game for fun with friends

For local multiplayer fun, Mortal Kombat is the best option. You have Tag-Team Mode that lets you play 2 vs 2 ( 2 players vs CPU or 2 players vs 2 players), and it's easier to play than Street Fighter.

Street Fighter has better netplay, but it's very difficult to master.

It takes several months of solid practice to play SFIV on a decent level, so although I love the game and the whole series as well, I wouldn't recommend it is a casual party game (plus you really, really need gamepads - some special moves are simply impossible to pull on the keyboard). MKKE and Injustice are way less complicated, come with a learning curve that's not as steep as Mount Everest, and have that little ironic "party game" feel to them. Personally, I had more fun with Mortal Kombat, but for a DC Comic fan Injustice is a must. They are both pretty similar as far as gameplay goes.

Injustice has local coop ? (aka local versus with a joypad) ?!

atm i'm playing SFIV (local versus) and it's fun, we are just facerolling but it's really fun.

MK9 is the best choice among these games. It has the most accessible controls, consisting mostly of dial-a-combos. Don't take this as bashing the control scheme, i prefer the USFIV or KOF control schemes myself, but when someone pops over for a visit we mostly play MK, because it has very simple to pick up controls. You have to do some learning and explaining to do when playing SF and similar games.

Plus you can have a few good laughs at the overdone fatalities and visuals. :>

Injustice is too damn fun locally

Should add KoF XIII to the list if you have it. Not my personal favorite, but not that hard to pick up.
As for SFIV - it's harder to master if you want to play really competetively, but IV is still relatively noob friendly, once you get past the first bump in the learning curve and stop button mashing.

Good gamepad and/or stick recommended for all fighting games by the way, especially for local coop (since keyboard tends to get too small quick for 2 players)

Mortal kombat has more interesting kharacters
and better graphiks
and most importantly.. fatalities.
