The DLC I think that only add content to the ending of the game, so if you are not going to beat it it's not worth buying them.
I've only played the first one, and was quite fun here they've added another char and co-op. So I guess it's price now is quite good.

I just bought it myself and the biggest complaints I heard were really that it was just more of the same and didn't try to do anything different. I loved the first game so more is fine with me.

It is, it does hardly anything different from the first one. The only major addition are co-op and endless mode levels, other than that it's new maps, new traps/weapons and some rebalancing.
The good side about this however is that all the weapons and even the maps from the 1st are included in the Orcs Must Die! 2. :)

The current prices are definitely worth it and the amount of gameplay depends on how much you want to get high ratings. DLC basically add more variation. One thing I can say is that the game is built for co-op play, it's not really well designed for solo games.

I've finished 80% of the game and it's true co-op is the idea way to play. But you can easily solo any map and get all 5 skulls. You just need a fully upgraded Ring of Lightning. Mouse 2 infront of a door with a few traps and it's over.
But yes without even finishing it, I say it's worth it. Sucks they took out the weavers, but the upgrade system kinda replaces it.

Orcs Must Die 2 is really at it's best in co-op. There are some levels that are just NOT FUN for one person alone.
If you are going to play with a friend the whole time, pick it up, it's a good game for sure. If you are going to play solo however, pick up the first game.

I was going to pick it up yesterday for 50% off. Good thing I remembered the golden rule.

Awesome game, one of my most (if not the most) played games released this year. I'm at about 55 hours played now and still interested/active in it. Buying the complete pack or a 2pack is definitely worth it without a question at 75% off.
Endless mode and co-op are what make it infinitely better than the first, as well as some all around tune-ups really seal off the deal. The DLCs are good, but not necessarily needed, each adds 3 levels and some new items. I liked most of the DLC levels but again they aren't absolutely needed, but now is definitely the best time to pick them up if you are interested. Co-op is awesome, especially if you coordinate what you're doing you can really work up some good combo generating layouts to really hit the leaderboards, as mentioned by ageofarmageddon some of the levels, especially on nightmare, are pretty frustrating to deal with in single player, but not so much in co-op.
I think I've answered all your questions :P

I was debating getting the complete 2 pack for me and a friend but I want to know what people think of it before deciding.
How much would you say it's worth paying?
How much game play does it give you?
Are the DLCs good to have?
Is the Co-op good or is single player better?
Thanks in advance
