I know it makes him sound wise, or whatever, but what if they are both terrible people, and just don't want the other one to have the kid? It only looks good in hindsight.
In other versions of the story, it's not about the kid itself, but the inheritance of the kid. If they were both self interested, then half the inheritance is better than none.
In all seriousness though, I'd just give the key to the first person that asked, or give it to someone else, or just do a GA here.
I am willing to take both halves of the key if no one else wants it.

100% agree, I always wondered what would have happened if both still wanted to keep the baby. He would have probably just put the baby in a better care than those two, if he really was wise.

I have the game already. I got it in some kind of free GA some time ago. I do have less than 1k games though. I was surprised when I joined this site that the average Steam account here has $16k worth of games. Obviously no one pays full price, but even still, it seems like a lot.

I think the criteria is well thought, and I think many people exist that meet it.
But I think that you've not thought of a last criteria. "Someone that reads this thread". Most people just enter giveaways, not many people follow "niche" threads like this. So I also think it's kinda unlikely that you'll find that person in this thread and give it to them so the game truly finds a good home.
Still, I think it's a good idea and I wish you luck. Have a blueheart as a token of appreciation.

That's the point, and why I wanted to comment so you were aware of it.
But I forgot to tell you that there's an option. Make a giveaway through SGTools. You can put custom rules to pass the SGTools gate and get the giveaway link, then check if the winner actually passed through the gate or obtained the link by other means. I've never used it and I think it doesn't have the "wishlisted before X" but it has a lot of stuff that might help you give the game in a way close to what you intend. If after some days you don't get any candidate here, I suggest you to try it.

Oh yeah I've been through a couple of those to enter GAs myself, but I've never used it.

Here you can gift directly keys to other people, but you can NEVER PUT THE KEYS DIRECTLY IN THE MESSAGE, even encoded ones, because silent ninjas are as intelligent as grateful people and can solve the riddles too.
So here are a few ways :
If the person answering doesn't have too much GAs won or given, maybe don't use that.
Don't hesitate to propose more possibilities !
