The Orphan thread is for keys that will or wont work for whatever reason. Unlike with a giveaway that is set up, you will have no obligation to actually deliver a key (because it was already activated, revoked, etc.). Whoever sees it first can use it. That leads to people just taking them without even leaving a message.
In this thread here its more like posting a game and then delivering the key to someone who wants it. The gifter can kind of choose the winner for any or no reason at all.
I used this thread for my DLC keys because the winner should actually have the base game to activate them. Even better if the winner is actually a fan of the series and will enjoy the gift.

I have Europa Universalis IV key from the Humble Bundle Europa Universalis IV The Complete Collection. I had the game already and registered all DLC's separately and did not use the key. Here you can gift directly keys to other people, but you can NEVER PUT THE KEYS DIRECTLY IN THE MESSAGE, even encoded ones, because silent ninjas are as intelligent as grateful people and can solve the riddles too.
So here are a few ways :
If the person answering doesn't have too much GAs won or given, maybe don't use that.
