it's difficult. One method I discovered a while back was that the OP changed the code to italic and you had to identify the italic characters, put them together and viola - a private giveaway code:)

Nobody will be able to tell you without spoiling it, assuming there's anything to spoil of course. But sometimes after a secret whatever has ended the person who made it will update their secret whatever topic to tell everyone where it was hidden and how to find them for next time. But there's no obligation; some people give explanations and some people don't. Good luck...

Also, check someone's profile if you think they might have a private giveaway up, then you know when it might possibly be safe to ask about it...
