Test Train

Hi,
I'm trying to run a train to promote my steam curator page but am having a bit of difficulty.
I've just done a test train but want to do a much bigger one later.

Here is the starting game:

I can't get the links to look right.

I thought it was lIndie Blast! but it is not coming out as a link in the description.

Do I just put the link to the next game in the description of the game before? Does this look right?

If it is invite only then supplying the link means you can enter. Is that correct?

I guess by looking at SteamGift Tools your first train should be the best game, as it appears it doesn't advertise it as a train; It just shows the first game in the train.

What is the reason for making the train invite only please? Can you not just do a public train?

People wont traverse the train normally that way - they can just go to the giveaways page to see them all :)

I suppose it depends on whether they have a script or not.
I don't have any scripts running so I need to open the giveaway where I see the description.
If you see the description then you will see the next game in the comments.

I'll just try it out of interest and see what happens.

Ah, by giveaways page i mean the main page, steamgifts.com
People can see all public giveaways there without going from the previous cart (and getting the next cart in the comments), so it's technically not a "train" anymore.

I'm not sure about scripts since i never used them, but since the yearly community train exists, it shouldn't be surprising if people have a script to bypass it too :)

I've just done an A-Z train and posted it in the thread.

I made it public to see what happens. If it ends up being twenty four separate giveaways that's cool.

I'm sure some of those public entries will see it is a train and some will miss it. That's fine with me.

Yes, i saw the thread. That's a lot of giveaways! It should be acting as twenty four separate giveaways :)

Maybe you also can put the description in your other thread like this one? People might be able to notice more about your curator that way :)

You can do it as long as you move it to user projects category imo. There are people who promote their works even if they are not steam related there :)
