Thing is that it's pretty much meaningless as most games don't sell at full price. Sales and bundles have eroded that part of the market till it almost doesn't exist.

idling the system to farm cards also results in play hours and hence the game is counted as a played one. I just play csgo and rocket league but have a play percentage of 22% of 253 games.

$5,989.75 and 78% played. Both are lies since i buy all/most of my games cheap and there is a lot of double games like company of heroes that gives you 2 versions etc.

It says my account is worth over $22,900 but it's not anywhere near that. Most of the games on my account are bundled etc.
BTW, since you asked, it's just the value of all the games on your account at their full price. Nothing else. I wouldn't put too much stock in that. Maybe take the value they gave you, swipe a 0 off the end (or move the decimal point to the left one) and it's probably closer to what your account is actually worth. :P

"Worth" is zero as you can't sell your Steam account (legitimately) and you "own" only licenses which can be revoked at any time under any pretext.

I've just had a look at it and I gotta say I'm kinda surprised. How comes the average account worth is estimated at 11.7k? Considering there might very well be huge amounts of abandoned accounts that have only few games in them.

My account value is ~9k which is 2k lower than the "average" steamgifts user, but my percentage played is 62%, which is 25% higher than the average user, so I think I'm doin pretty good!!

I'd estimate my worth as being roughly equal to one glass of fresh orange juice and two bubblegums. Maybe without the orange juice.
According to SG my Steam Account's Value is 19,533.62$ and I've "played" 19% of my games. Naturally, both of those are a bit unrealistically high. ;D

So, I was looking at my stats. Under Personal/Steam, there is account value. This value is of your steam account vs the average users. I am above average. I think I might be well above average. By about $3000. Which brings up the old rule. Never look back at how much you have spent. Though thanks to bundles and trading. I know I have not spent anywhere near what the value of my account is. God I hope I haven't
Though I was wondering. How do they get the amount? Is it based on the games and software you own or does it also include cards and items? Are badges included? Is the age of your account a factor and by how much? Not that I would ever think about selling my account (not that I could get that much for it I am sure). It just interests me to see that.
I also see I have played about 46% of the games I own. Which is above the average of 37%. Funny that I also seem to have spent more money (have more games) related to adventure but I play more rpg (both 1 and 4 on the lists, just swapped out for each list). I am glad they don't have adult games listed on that. I might top out the chart if that was counted. ;P
So, do you know how much your worth? You don't have to say. Just felt that was an eye catching topic title. ;P
