Touching my eyeball was like one of my biggest fears but now I can pretty much touch it without squirming and I haven't wore lenses for good 7 years. :-)
Also you don't really touch your eyeball with lenses, either putting them on or taking them out. Well, if you're careful that is.

I wear glasses myself. Not sure where I rank on the blindness scale, but I can't see anything clearly past 6 inches from my face without my glasses. sighs

Dunno how Alucard but I go to an optometrist, get it measured and get a paper with which I go next door to a glasses shop and make an order, no need to remember numbers that way: .-)

Glasses here. The one time I tried lenses for a day my eyes got inflamed. And yes, I did do the whole proper cleaning routine before sticking them in. Seems my eyeballs just are too sensitive or something.

I think that's usual, because lenses are still an object.. and normally you shouldn't put things onto your eyeball^^
But it stops when you used them two or three times :)

even the very first time I didn't notice that I wear lenses at all. But I was in a lenses-shop and they helped me to do everything correctly (I was like 12 years old xD)

I can't imagine my life without glasses. I tried lenses, but it's very uncomfortable for me. It's hard to describe my feellings from lenses.

Yeah I wear glasses. I wore contact lenses for 4 years, but once I was at a point where I needed to get more, and lost one of them and was forced to wear my glasses, I figured I look better with glasses so I went back to them. I need new ones, though lol.

I only wear glasses when i'm at home, most of the time i'm wearing lenses. I only go outside with glasses when i'm too lazy to put lenses
