hi everybody!
5 days have passed since i won a game i already have in mass giveaway. i wrote a comment in GA for requesting new winner but it seems that GA creator won't going to do anything. what should i do? mark as not received after 7 days?

5-7days is also the current time-frame it takes to get a ticket response from support too, they may have sent a ticket but just never said anything to you that they did so. but in mass GAs sometimes the gifter doesn't care.. i'd just wait till 7days though and mark it not received, if they choose to correct later they can.

I think it is not right at all to receive a key and mark as not received. You are the one who did something bad, not the GA creator. You were supposed to remove all entries of the game after you got the game. Not just the creator haven't got their points yet, they also risk you used the key.

The creator schould communicate, though.

Mistakes happens and if the creator doesnt say anything and dont do a reroll. Then its not much else OP can do but mark as not received.

now i'm more confused than before. what if i delete the game from my steam library and then activate it with the key i won?

I don't agree at all with Pilda. You should mark as not received after 7 days. It's not your fault if the creator doesn't reroll.

I don't agree at all with you here. It's not OPs fault that the creator doesn't reroll. It's up to the creator to make sure the keys go to the right people. The creator should have checked OPs profile if he owned the game already.

Mass giveaways auto reveal keys so every single key is potentially used if there is an issue.

Don't mark it as not received, don't click on anything at all!
Leave it open.
Write in the thread that you request a re-roll and send the creator a message on Steam and leave it at that.

No, an unactivated win is marking the game as received but not adding it to your library. Multiple wins would be marking the game as received, but having won it several times. Best course of action is to wait until he replies and not mark it either way or mark it as not received after 7 days.

The "recieved" button should really be called "received and activated" because you click it when you activated the win on your account.
Not clicking it means you didn't activate it and it doesn't show up on your won games.

Don't mark as anything , the ga creator did send you the key so marking not received is wrong .

Just leave it open and be annoying in reminding him to request new winner

it was 30000 copies GA and everyone who joined won their copy. there's a ton of comments about reroll already in the GA thread.

This is, why massive GAs (5.000, 10.000, 30.000 or even 100.000) shouldn't count for rules...

They still count because some people still enter and click "received" on multiple GAs of the same game. They either didn't bother to read the rules or don't care and give the other keys to friends or family.

so just disable massive GAs on this page. there are other places for massive keydrops

Also if there are more copies being given away than there are winners, they can't reroll. Best to send a support ticket in that case.

yeah, there were 30000 copies with 16650 entries
