Just got CS:GO and have a question about the controls

What the video cable (which is in fact identical) you use has to do with the steering?

I don't understand this. You say you'd like to try it (so you haven't played it yet) but say it's worse then CS:S or CS 1.6... huh..

I turned off vsync, and it runs great on my machine. Radeon 5770, AMD 250, 5GB RAM. It's not quite as smooth as CS:S, but it's still more than playable. I didn't notice any choppy animations either, I spent most of my time ogling de_dust2, because it's glorious to look at.

I think many people just want to hate this game, in the same way that many 1.6 players loathed CS:Source. It's my personal opinion that anyone who is still playing 1.6 probably isn't the best authority on what's fun and what's not - if you're still playing 1.6 than any change is going to be bad.
