I would name it rather metalcore than metal, but generally metalcore is one of metal genres :) I used to listen music like this long time ago, I know even this band, but my music taste has changed :)

Music is a very opinionated topic you will never find a consensus....
I actually like most genres of Rock from Indie to Death Metal to Folk Punk.....this means majority of the videos linked I like including the first one as actually if I had to choose my top genre it probably would be modern Metalcore.
