So I'm interested in Garry's mod, and there is a lot of trades going on in the trade section for it, my offer was this:
Civ 3 complete edition, 2 cards (it was more but steam market stole 30 of them), around 40 TF2 items and 1 emoticon,
^is this a fair offer to someone who owns it?^
What would you give/take for this game?
(Just asking for reference, Thanks!)

http://backpack.tf/ to check your TF2 inventory value, crates do not count.
With cards, you're better off selling them on market and purchasing game yourself, or just buying something with wallet.

you'll find most traders are interested in keys or games.
If no one is interested in your game or card you can first find a trader who's interested in cards. Some of them buy 5 cards for 1 ref. So if you have 45-50 cards you can trade them for one key. I believe if you're offering 40 TF2 items they're maybe not that good?? So they won't sell quickly on the market. If you want to get rid of them for something more valuable there's tf2outpost (not sure about the exact name) where you might be luckier.

Regarding if you're offering a fair trade or not, i can't really say but it's just a matter of finding the person who might be interested in Civ3.

Good luck.

If I didn't own both games already, I'd probably take Civ III and two TF2 keys for it. Card prices are in constant flux because stupid people keep driving down the prices instead of inflating them, most TF2 items are cheap/cruft, and emoticons are worth pennies.

But since I own both games, I can't really help you. Sorry.

Garry's Mod is really popular - even though it has been in a bundle and lots of big sales traders will still hold out for a decent price because they know they will get it. I think around 2 TF2 keys is the going rate.

A lot of people bought the Civ humble bundle just for Civ5 and they are still trying to get rid of their unwanted Civ3 complete. Without success. Most traders would consider it more trouble than it is worth, and I don't think they would put much value at all on the rest of your stuff. Sorry. But good luck!
