Quake 4 Sale?

Does Quake 4 ever go on sale for 5 bucks? It's somewhat frustrating that "QUAKE"con has no good "QUAKE" game sales, but I don't think I've ever seen Quake 4 go for lower than 10 bucks. Kind of dumb considering I got a boxed copy at goodwill for 3 dollars, but I can't redeem it on steam and it has 4 freaking disks.

Got it for $4.00 on GMG in April of this year (20% off code when it was at $4.99).
Looks like it typically doesn't go below $4.99 though.

I've been waiting to grab Quake 3 for 5$ for a while but they're not putting any decent discount on it anymore for some reason. Go figure :(

It's kinda funny that the weakest Quake episode is the most expensive. I've been waiting for 4-5 years for a decent Q4 sale. -.-
