I bought this 3.5 years ago in a bundle. Just started to play and finished it a few days ago. I enjoyed it.
Currently playing "Scrap Garden - The Day Before" This one is always free.
Play "Scrap Garden" first. I don't think it matters but it does start out by making a reference to the other game in passing. :)

Yes, It takes place before the events of the first game. But it came out afterwards. The narrator start off by telling the player that canny has an adventure to go on before his big adventure in the other game that he does not know about yet..... or something similar. I forget how it was said.
Its basically the same game but with different levels. I've played the first couple levels so far. Game play is the same. You can play the two in any order. I don't think it will matter at all. Considering that I have half the achievements already and have not played more then a couple levels. I don't think this one is as big as the other game. But if you enjoy one game, you will enjoy the other as well.
