Me too. The real question though... why make it a DLC at all if it's free for everyone. Shouldn't they just add it to the base game as it becomes available?

well, if it makes it worth your while, you can get the DLC without owning the base game. Thats an advantage of DRM. You can get it while its free.

Are these only free for GOG purchases or are they free for everyone? I know they have a few paid and overpriced DLC planned as well..

it's pretty obvious but i have to point it out:
the game will have 16 free dlcs,these are small DLCs such as Armor sets,weapons,small quests,etc.
in addition to these the game will have 2 Expansion Packs which are NOT free,These EPs will add quest lines and have around 20-30 hours of game play...

I'd prefer making the game run with more than 25FPS on a $500 GPU instead (GTX 780.)

Am I the only one who wishes that? The game runs like a pig. I don't need dlc. I need the game to run well on high-end PCs instead.
