I've never gotten any promo e-mails from Humble at all, despite the forced newsletter sub from freebies (and occasional accidental forgetting to toggle it off when claiming a gift). Presumably it's just a difference in my contact settings (since I'm very much the type to make a point of disabling those asap). Details on accessing those at the top of this FAQ page:
