I was scammed today by this fishy site. I've also seen that many people know about this but nobody does nothing.
Research + experience:

  1. False advertisting & fake reviews
  2. Fake partners
  3. Illegal keys from bundles (They also are not ashamed and for 2nd week I spot them as top contributor in humble bundle - advertising in humble's own site, really?)
  4. Bad "security" system, where you have to wait for days in some cases because your payment was just not accepted, but they however charged the money.
  5. Most likely run by 15 years old fat polish kid.
  6. They don't refund when they make mistakes, even on small items that are worth 2 dollars. But they act like "look how rich we are" on Humble.
  7. Customer Service is total crap, same person using different names and bad english, not knowing anything.
  8. Always find a way to get money - if you sell, you pay them fee. However the buyer also pays the same fee for unknown reason. And what about the "Shield"? They log in your PC with TeamViewer to "verify". And you even need to pay for that every time. How classy.

And let's not forget: http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/8zRws/devolver-digital-in-an-open-war-with-g2a

I really hope someone like Humble Bundle will hit them hard very soon.

P.S. Sorry for the topic but I'm so pissed at them.

I never bought something from G2A but I've got my game The Forest from Kinguin.com
Also I never buy games that previously were in Humble Bundle offers, but only games that are on discounts, offers like The Forest, paid for 14$ because of Steam I have to pay in Euro and I dont like the scheme of 1 Euro = 1 Dollar ! Received my key in the next 2 minutes

I own and operate a webshop that sells on kinguin and g2a, some people here are uninformed on how hard it is to deal with a publisher them self. some ask for millions in guaranteed orders to be able to sell their games. that's why a lot of indie games bundle websites started out, this might be the only legal way to get to business revenues that cross millions. i personally only sell games i have paid for, i handle all the purchasing myself and never buy from unknown source or sellers, my reputation is on the line when i sell those afterwards. i mainly do this to help European get a cheaper price. i still don't understand why they sell at 1$ = 1€. remove that unfair pricing and most of the reselling industries is gone out the window. just a small comment from the inside that might make you realize that it's not always money but sometimes about helping another gamer.

Helping yourself out and masquerading it as helping somebody else out makes it no better. Say it as it is. The reason you do it is you profit. A by product of that is people get it cheaper and that is why you get to profit.

i would do it if there was no profit however i would reduce the scale i currently doing it on.

i have been doing it for 4 years+, buying when it's low and selling at the same price to friends / steamtrade / reddit swap. most of the time it's because they missed a game that was in sale.

Not saying you are doing anything wrong by the way. You must be the only guy on Steam Trades who doesn't do it for profit :)

Totally agreed. I bought a game from them, I didn't answer to the phone verification call and now I HAVE TO WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR THE REFOUND. Why the hell youtubers keep promoting it?

G2A is legit. Devs who give their games to bundles are suckers. I buy cheap those games and i sell them. Devs are total suckers. I only buy games to sell, not to play. I pirate games to play. I'm from Turkey by the way.

Just because you have no morals doesn't mean other people don't. People normally don't buy things they know were stolen.

I've bought from them a ton of times and never had a problem. One of the big things is to never buy bundle games from G2A. I only buy AAA games that never go on sale (like Call of Duty) on G2A because it's waay cheaper than Steam.
