Do you use desktop or laptop for gaming?

my laptop is too weak for gaming :(

desktop, my laptop is super weak and makes noise like a jet turbine.

Both. Sometimes I don't feel like leaving the bed and I boot up some bed-compatible games like Civilization or Prison Architect.

laptop with i5 and intel hd graphics 4400 which is good enough for most of my games.

I use a laptop, although I'd love to have a quality desktop some day.

At least 30 fps with an 860M at the moment.

Can a console be counted as a laptop? They're almost the same weight.

can't stand laptops. don't have one, don't want one... Have an Asus transformer t700 instead :)

Should have made this a poll thread to keep better track of which one most are using.

I use a desktop, mainly because I don't have a laptop, but I would never use a laptop for gaming. My desktop isn't the most powerful, but it can still be easily upgraded when I need to. Laptops are harder to upgrade, though some can be.

I play on a shitty, low end laptop (i5 540m with an Intel hd integrated graphic card). :(

Have been laptop only gamer for about 10 years now.

Laptop, 4y/o Toshiba still running Minecraft full graphics at 170FPS ... Its something... ;-;

Gaming with laptops is kind of a bad concept. Because mobile video cards are kind of lame and not at all potent like they're full size counterparts. I have both a laptop and a desktop and my laptop has an Nvidia 720m. While a normal Nvidia 720 would be pretty powerful for gaming, this one barely performs any better than something from the Nvidia 4 series. I'm still, however, forced to use my laptop for somw games because my desktop computer is...sub-par(to put it mildly). Hoping to change that pretty soon.
