The Terraria Update! It's Finally There!

Was it updated like 3 hours ago? I was busy watching Breaking Bad.
Anyway, I wish I can move the minimap somewhere else or make the window smaller.

Stopped caring, but might restart from the beginning

Awesome. Sadly I've lost my saves because of the lack of steam cloud, this makes it worthy of replay (I was really wishing for steam cloud to be added, sadly I'll lose these saves sooner or later).

Looks like it's time to reset and start again.

Just tried it, i'll start playing seriously in a couple days, when my ass stops hurting... i mean when finals end.

Does anyone know when 1.3 will be out? I'll probably wait until then, I hate feeling like I'm missing out and I already have to start a new world for this

Multiplayer feels like a step back. Can't even connect over direct with both router and server port forwarding or via Hamachi

I lost all of my Terraria data when my comp went kaput a while back, so I've had to start completely over. \I'm very much enjoying myself with the new update. So much new stuff, even in the lower portions of the game, it's wonderful.

I also gotta say, I love the fact that you can turn gems into grapples now. I got lucky enough to figure that out before I got ready to farm for a hundred years for a hook.

Anyone figured out a way to add at least basic custom items now that tconfig is no longer an option?

I started over mostly (brought my mirror from my last save and a few potions) and I've been having a blast. Just finished off Skeletron and I'm exploring the dungeon. Been down to hell and honestly can't imagine how I'm going to fight the wall of flesh. My hell is a cluster@#$% with no open areas.

All in all though, it's great fun. An awesome update.

yesterday I played the game on the new update!really cool new update...unfortunately the weather in my country was really bad(and still is) and the satellite dish broke,and cause it was 6PM when that happened they fixed it this morning -.- so now I'm going back to playing Terraria with friends :D

Looks like still no controller support. But, I got the game on sale (75% off), so I'm not mad, more disappointed. Keyboard and mouse is okay in a 3D space, but for 2D platforming, I just can't get it down. Feels like a handicap. And I have a pretty big backlog.

Version is 1.2.0.1 by the way.

New world and only one thing came with me, the Drax haha.

Been messing around with the new paint, definitely able to build and color anything you want now. Time to start working!
