If you hover your cursor above an item on the website that nopieleft gave you, you can see it's value in metal.

Thanks. Interesting link!

Apparently my items are worth $15. A shame, since I almost never play the game :(

For your Green/Genuine items, they can be sold on the Steam Market rather than for metal.

Steam Wallet $ may be worth more to you than crafting metal.

It should be noted that selling for metal/keys and trading those for games will yield a much higher return though. :p

Oh for sure, but that involves time to trade items -> metal, then more time trading metal -> games.

For people who don't have the time to do a pile of trades, or just don't like trading; Market is a very easy solution :)

True. But even then it's usually a better option just to sell your entire backpack to someone, even if you don't have that much you'll usually make out better than on the Market.

Anyone I've seen buying backpacks are people looking to get ridiculous discounts: in other words, sharking.

Of course they are expecting discounts, they are the ones that have to invest a bunch of time in selling the items individually, which as the guy I replied to said, is not something everyone will want to do.

If you have some half decent stuff and not all weapons etc it's pretty easy to find someone that'll pay 75% or so paypal and if you're just looking for a few games it's usually even easier.

In any case it's always a better option that the Steam Market.

Off Topic, but why do you have Nick Griffin as your avatar? And your steam URL "freedomforuk"? And why is one of your previous names "FOOKEN PAKIES"?

(Asking for a friend who has added you to his giveaway blacklist because those look like the behaviours of a massive racist.)
