if they don't stop these useless developers with their edgy game titles, this will be just the beginning.
imagine what would happen if they release more games that are just trash but with clickbait names:

  • pedophile paradise: playing with little girls (puzzle with anime girls)
  • cops in action: killing black people (a fps with zombies wearing black tuxedos)
  • concentration camp simulator: kill them all (slaughterhouse sim)

wow so much fun! 10/10 would be a stupid troll dev again!

thanks again STEAM DIRECT!

i really needed your thoughts on this, Mully.

not trolling here, and just wish to have an answer from you:

do you really think these "things" to be a "danger" of some sort?

edit: hope this doesn't sound too rude, but what i want to know -and 100% will not get :P- are Mully thoughts and opinion on this.

already got enough of the general opinion in 470 comments.

seems there are enough people who cant difference fiction from reality anymore. so could be plausible.
not that id see any need for this game or any of them mentioned above.

Yes they are.
I can imagine games with imigrants raping italian women on the beaces lets say rimini. or maybe building faultymotorways to kill as many ppl as possible. Or maybe kill pedestrian isis style ? Is this ok with you ? Of course with catchy title. Or just puzzle game with catchy title: bombing rome metro puzzle.
Come on, even i have borders i dont want to cross. There has to be a balance between free of speech and common sense. Like we cannot allow anti vaccine morons to freely speak with their lies. We are not in medieval times, earth isnt flat and its proven, we dont need to prove it everyday.

i dont give a fuck what you do in a game. but as said i see myself able to difference fiction form reality. many here seem to have a problem with that. so maybe this people should not be allowed to watch it.
edit: if we really want to go this way every game where anyone dies has to be forbidden.
think about the sad people who lost someone.
murder? theres people who had someone murdered in their family, you think they like that?
death by ills? theirs people who lost people by ills, you think they will like that?
and so on
this whole whining about one thing while being good with everything else is simple stupid in my eyes

Can we really make a distinction between a game where the objective is (insert your pick here) and games which allow people to commit (see previous)?

I don't really see the point: if you buy the first title is because you wanted to play around with that and if you bought the second game, you could have done it for the same reason. At the end of the day, why or how someone plays a singleplayer or local game doesn't affect any of us, and as such I don't feel there is a reason to take away their freedom to enjoy such content or of devs from producing it. What we should do is give the tools for people who want not to see these things.

Rape in title, really valve ? Probably no women workin there in quality control.

I think the greater issue is people conflating reality with fiction. And people working under the assumption that someone playing a game which contains rape depictions will magically make them want to rape or point them towards that direction, where no reliable, peer-reviewed academical studies supporting such a conclusion seem to exist.

People need to get into their brains that normal people will not be influenced by entertainment into going on a killing/raping/stealing frenzy. And someone who would get influenced into doing the sort of illegal stuff I've mentioned will just as easily be influenced by a book. When are the book burnings starting, then?

People could (and should) argue about the quality of said game and whether it should be on the store (IMO, it shouldn't, it's low quality trash, but that's me), but this pedantry over rape is the same shit that other people argue over murder and GTA/CoD/etc.

I doubt that the dev has the rights to use those images.

If someone has a serious hate boner for such games, he can seek out the artists of those images and convince them to report the game for copyright infringement.

How does furry get removed but not rape?

I think it was the one that had really easily identifiable stolen art and the original creators/owners were alerted fairly quickly.
Granted, the sheer amount of these games in the Sentinels of the Store Discord can make me mix some of them up. Although furry games are not exactly abundant on Steam. Yet.

Going to assume since the art-creators I contacted forced Steam to take it down... but the artists behind the OP's game haven't done so.

" Hi!
Thanks a lot for the heads up. I was made aware of this game before, and was told I should wait until the game was released to file a copyright claim in the case there were more art stolen from me.

I'm defintively filing a takedown request, because it's also using lots of stolen artwork and music from what I managed to see.

Again, many thanks for letting me know of this. I can never be grateful and happy enough for having people like you among my watchers, to take the time to let me know when things like this happen. For most busy artists like myself, you're like our eyes out there where we simply don't have the time to check all the time.

If I notice the art of someone else I know, I'll make sure to tell them too :)"

The same art-thief was behind both games though so hopefully Valve looking into this will get all his art-theft titles taken down soonish.

No, Valve have stated that they are rather proud of running most of the Steam store on algorithms with very minimal human oversight. This is why they try to fix all emerging new issues by applying even more algorithms on them.

Like Farm Simulator for a farm simulator?

If it is a good simulator game i see no harm in this name or game.
There are even games allready who simulate exactly this, nothing really exciting at the moment but also far away from common trash tornado games..
