I missed the '09 game (if that's even part of this modern storyline) but I did quite enjoy Wolfenstein New Order/Old Blood and New Colossus. But with the story shift to his daughters and this co-op mechanic, I'm a little worried about Youngblood. It's on sale for $5.99 alone I think but with the bundle (where I already own everything else in it) it drops it down to only $4.31.

At a price that low, is it a decent enough entry to get to continue/end the story? Or did they ruin it that bad that its unplayable and should be avoided? It says its playable single player but if there is AI controlling the other sister and its total dog****, that's just going to make it overly frustrating, right?

Thanks, game on!

Buy it?

Yes, especially with the bundled sale price.
Yes, still worth it with a smaller discount or even full price.
No, wait until you win a copy or its given out for free.
No, don't bother even free.

For 4$ you can't get many new AAA games nowdays. Even though I'm one of the stingiest person I know I still think it's worth it. You can do a lot worse for 4 bucks but not a lot better, I'll grab it too by the end of the sale.

As for me, the game has its own very specific, but still a kind of taste that few people may like. When I started playing it, everything seemed bad and strange - just a couple of locations, which enemies constantly respawn, missions of the same type, but the longer you play, the more you get involved in the process and you start to get some kind of pleasure. The game is worth playing, but it is not worth the money at all, and if the discount for your wallet seems serious, then you can give it a chance.

I'm playing it at the moment actually. Look it's not as good as the main games, and it will be a grind to get all of the achievements, but the core gunplay is still pretty satisfying, so I'd say for that price, go for it.

I played it a bit, it's grindy but it's kinda fun in coop, not sure about the singleplayer experience. It's not like The New Order though, significantly lower quality.

Average FPS, but dogshit Wolfenstein game. Enemies have levels and health bars (to even the playing field in co-op) and later on, they're susceptible more to certain damage types. It will lead to bizarre situations where you will empty a whole magazine into an enemy (using the "wrong" kind of weapon) giving them constant headshots and it will maybe chip away 20% of their health bar.

Youngblood has a decent story, the characters can be quite annoying though.
The RPG part with skill tree etc is not bad, but combat still becomes repetitive and the levels are pretty dull.
The AI does a good enough job as your companion. Only at one specific location I had the issue that sis always got stuck.
If you are a Wolfenstein fan, I'd absolutely get it for that price. If you just want some good shooter, there are better options.
