Well dammit, this is pretty hard, mainly because I don't have much experience with this type of puzzle. The mysterious file is mysterious indeed.

they key is to trash it, i did, nothing happened, but at least i felt better >.>

For people afraid of downloading the file, I tested all the stages of the puzzle, and I can assure you that the file is fine.

I've got a binary sequence....that leads me nowhere. Could at least plz hint me if I'm heading in the right direction?

What game is the key for?
Can the file be given a file extension to open it in something or do we have to look for something in the raw data?

I'm kind of new to the puzzles here on steamgifts... actually this is the 1st one I'm trying. And my question is, what are we searching for? a link for a giveaway, or what? how does this whole puzzle thing work?
