I still don't understand so you craft the badge and the in game item you receive is it random? so could you receive an item from a game you don't play? Will someone who has crafted one shed some light on it for me please.

I crafted two badges, and received two items for games I've NEVER played:

Slime Priest Skin (Common item) for Realm of the Mad God

Melting Snowflake (Common item) for War Thunder

I crafted 1, and got the rare vomit emoticon, the Payday 2 background, and an Emerald Imp thingy for Path of Exile.

I crafted one.
I got the badge of course, a coat of arms- yellow farmer (common) and a :tgrin: emoticon.
And a Holiday Sale 2013-XCOM backround.

I won't craft any badge. Perhaps I'll make some trades instead for some Spiral Knights and Path of Exile rewards.

I crafted the Snow globe badge (just the normal one, not foil) I received The badge, plus 5 extra friends slots, a facepalm emoticon a steam holiday sale version background of surgeon simulator and a Turquoise Imp Mask for Path of Exile (a game i do not play), it's all random items. The mask is up for sale.

I got the turquoise imp mask, the cry emoticon, and the Football manager background.
