My contributor value just went down with 40 dollars..

As seen below, I have gifted games for $71.95 dollars and all of them are received, but for some reason my contributor value is at 30 dollars. It was on 71.45 just yesterday. What is happening?

Some game was added to bundle game list. And the maximum value you can get from giving away bundle games is $30.00
EDIT: Unless of course you away some real games, then it increases accordingly. There was a formula to calculate how much value specifically YOU can get from giving away bundled games.

There is a guy on this site and he was gave 10 copies of Darksiders, 10 copies of Red Faction Armageddon and 10 copies Red Faction Armageddon Path to War DLC. His contributor value 30 $, at least i was gave 3 copies all of them :(

He still came out ahead, since he paid $10 for it.

And he can earn the rest while giving away non bundle titles, so its all good.

I don't look at the limit as value I'm missing, but bonus value I'll get from future giveaways. 25 copies of Fortix? That is $30 instead of $25. Awesome!

they are not bundle so will be legit - or somw wise guy will change the rules again, in the middle of the game

Yes, but its really hard to earn the rest of it. 10 copy * 47 $ = 470 $ contributor value, i don't know how much needing for earn the rest. Is there a way to calculate it? And is that Cartman on your avatar?

My avatar is Rikku of Final Fantasy X, as done by a friend of mine who does commissions. He did both my Steam avatar and a private group avatar. Only cost me a copy of 10,000,000. :P

He even has his own site for some quick comics he has done lately.

Games which have been in bundles or otherwise made widely available at little or no cost are added to the bundle list. Games in this list will not add more than 20% (1/5) of your non-bundle contributions, disregarding the first $25. For more detailed information, see this thread.

This is why I hate this contributor system. Once a game is added to the bundle list, you won't get the full contributor points for the entire life.
