Anyone Here Play Runescape Old School or RS3 or Have Played in The Past?

I played it many years ago, but i don't rememeber what account i used

I used to play it when I was younger but I was a F2Per, so there wasn't much content for me to enjoy. Honestly, I don't think I'd be able to return to it. It's one of those games that is littered with nostalgia for me. I had a bunch of hilarious and random experiences on that game, including when I was hacked and I had my brother hunt down my character to get my account back.

I also heard that the game hasn't changed drastically compared to a few years ago, although even if it did I have no doubts it would still be P2P content.

I played RSC and RS2. Haven't played since about 2010. Used to be filthy rich too, then one day I just dropped all my stuff and logged out. Game was a hell of a lot of fun to play though and I made a lot of good friends in it, some of who I still talk to today.

Hosting mass boss events was always fun :) Slayer (and Farming) was always a skill that I used to enjoy levelling up.

I was tempted to get in on the ground floor of old school but it would have just taken too much of my free time up anyway. I've actually applied for jobs at Jagex in the past and I still keep an eye out if there's something that would suit me.

I recently came back but it's something I do when I am doing my homework.

Former ex-Runescape player here.
Started ~ 2007, 2008 and played for approximately three years.

Nearly maxed total, had a divine sigil drop, endless hilts and so on, quest cape.
As far as I remember there are still two easter eggs and about 500 million gold on my account! :)

I started playing runescape classic in 2002 and quit somewhere around 05 or 06 on rs2. Would only log in when there were big clan wars, I was in a few big clans; Anarchy, IHC, Gladz and some others. Was fun back then with the run-ins/wars.

I started playing RuneScape back in 2001, when the game released. I would check day after day, and multiple times throughout the day just waiting for the game to finally launch. I was one of the first 1,000 or so players to play (there's even an unofficial list around somewhere). I was also a player moderator for 5 years, starting in 2006 (which was the first time that I had gotten members as well), which was pretty darn stressful for the first few years. I do still miss it a lot, though.

Funnily, I'm not maxed in everything and I only have 99 in woodcutting and fletching (my magic is close!) , and I'm low level in a bunch of stats, haha. =P But, I spent a lot of my time talking with people, especially during my years as a p-mod. That kept me pretty busy.

I used to get members and play one month out of the year, but I haven't actually played in around a couple years, partially because of the changes, and mostly because the good friends that I had made no longer played. =\ It's just not the same without them.

I really do miss playing the game, hosting drop parties (probably 3/4 of my wealth went to doing those for members and non-members, haha), and just standing around with friends, but at the same time, I just haven't had much of a desire to get myself members and start playing again.

Maybe I'll get back on again one of these days.

Played the 07 version for a few weeks, but couldn't get into it. Maybe if the game was 3rd person like Dark Souls, then I would have enjoyed RS more. I wasn't immersed in the plot if you will. In RS's "god view", a patch of green would be a bush. However in 3rd person the bush would be sizeable and flushed out. I felt out of place and not surrounded by RS's environment because I'm a pair of eyes floating in the sky from the game's camera view.

Of course! I was that asshole cooking chicken in the middle of the road and begging for money after burning all my food.

I played Oldschool Runescape last year, my biggest achievement was finishing Recipe for Disaster because people kept making fun of my lack of barrows gloves when training slayer and that's about it
