[OPEN] Girls Who Game - A group for girls... who game

Hi gamers! I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

I've made a group with my friends and I wanted to invite all the girls here. We're literally just starting out, but we're a group built by girls, made for girls who love gaming, no matter if you're into cozy indie titles, FPS, RPGs, or anything in between. What we want is to create a safe space where gamers can connect and have fun! It also doesn't matter if you've been gaming for years or you're just starting out, everyone is welcome here :)

Our community will focus on Discord and Steam, but gamers of all platforms are allowed. Since the main idea is to play games (together or alone), if you join our Discord you'll be able to participate in our team events, where you will earn points for each achievement gotten, and every three months you will be able to submit and vote for the best screenshot for extra points.

To join, simply reply to this post and apply to our Steam Group. Applications will be denied if I don't see your comment here.

Rules and requirements:

SG must be lvl 1+
You must have played at least 35~40% of your wins
All your wins must be activated!
If you win a game in our group you must play it within three months
If for whatever reason you can't play the game in that time, you must let the gifter AND the mod team know (before the three months are up) as soon as possible
Giveaways are not mandatory, but appreciated
We will host invite-only giveaways exclusively on our Discord every few months as well (whenever there's some extra money 😭)
Please don't lie about your gender. They/thems are absolutely allowed, and trans women are women so they're obviously allowed

I've been finding it helpful to start really short games when I'm not finding much time for games. Like The Deed you can finish in like 10 minutes. 😄 Or games like 10 Second Ninja, where you can play in short bits. Maybe some strategy like that could help?

hehe thanks for the advice, that's basically what i do though, every so often i get in a "cleaning" mood and knock out various short games quickly, and it does feel good that i'm finishing them. it's the long games that i struggle to play cause i get stressed overthinking of the time i need to dedicate to it instead of just opening and playing them 😭 And also choice paralysis, there's so much i want to play xD

i'm just applying for BLAEO and intend to use it along with other tools for helping choose games and i just started but seems to be helping, i've played a few games that weren't on my radar this month and was quick and satisfying :D

Love the idea, and would like to bump my support. While being female I don't reach the played wins threshold, and neither can I commit to the playing requirements of yet another group, but best of luck and lots of fun with this idea.
