steam warning : dangerous link spreading

i just got a suspicious message from a friend telling me to check this link http://light{WARNING}-screening.com{WARNING}/lols.jpg, which i edited with a {WARNING}. As i've read from some discussions, the virus is supposed to infect team fortress 2 data files and send the same link to all your friends, causing the spreading. Just wanted to warn you.
I'm on mac (pc graphic card broken since last weekend) and i used the browser in safe mode, so nothing happened.

yes, i got this too off a random friend on my list that i never talk to. Fortunately i was smart enough not to click on it :).
