Graphic card problem! Help me!

I have some kind of graphic card problem, but i don't know what caused it.
When I play games, there appears some kind of "texture bug".
This problem has first time appeared few weeks ago. Before that everything was normal.
I'd be very grateful, if you help me in any way.
I DON'T HAVE this problem only on 2 games: Medal of Honor 2010 MP and Battlefield Bad Company 2 which use FROSTBITE ENGINE.

My computer:
CPU: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core Processor, 2.7 GHz
RAM: 2.1 GB
VIDEO CARD: ATI Radeon HD 4550, 1.2 GB Video RAM
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition SP1, 32-bit

EDIT : problem is solved. i installed AMD Catalyst 12.4b Hotfix Driver and everything is fine now. Thanks tstddj for his big help

Use Driver Sweeper to remove ALL the bits of AMD driver crap then reinstall your graphics drivers.

AMD cards can act stupid if you mess with the performance - quality settings of cataclysm(assuming your card uses it). Try fiddling with those, could solve your problem.

Try to Lower the settings, Vsync Off, Blur off etc, check different version of drivers because every driver are not stable.
Also check the Idle and Ingame Temperature with Afterburner. Try to clean ur card if it has dust on it.

Have you checked the temperatures? How about your VGA cooler? Isn't it dusty as hell?

maybe his card is overheating and started showing broken pixels in game. if it is then just attach a 12mm fan with ur card and put air on the sink of GPU

Overheating could be the reason, that would explain why it happens only in some (more demanding) games.

If what tstddj doesn't help, uninstall the latest drivers and then install the AMD Catalyst 12.3 driver! I had the same problem!

If you haven't changed any settings, it could be that your graphics card is dying...
