So basically there was a trade, then a user posted this "Bump. Another trade where the owner has the games activated in his account."
Then the creator closed the trade,
Anyone care to explain what happened?

That was it.
After someone said : Another trade where the owner has the games activated in his account.
the creator closed the trade.

I dont understand why the trade had to be closed.

Im not aware of any PM system.

But how would having games activated in your account already affect your trades? I mean you could have multiple copies right?

there is no pm system indeed (which sucks) but the OP probably has another trade thread? and even if not, the trade is closed, why bother at all?

as others said, he probably activated the games himself as he didnt find anyone to trade and then closed it...

Um ... maybe , just maybe ... the trader guy was a newbie ... who tough he can trade games that are activated.
And upon realizing he cant ... he closed his treade ?

Or he just closed it for reason completely unrelated to that comment ?

Maybe ninjas ?

Because he no longer had the game. There's no point of keeping a trade topic open when you have nothing to trade. Or else, I don't know.

I think the trade thread creator was trying to trade games which were activated on his account & in his library.
after realizing he can't trade the games unless they are in inventory as gifts he closed the trade thread.

I had a look at his/heer steam profile, could not find the games he/she was offering to trade..... (neither in library nor inventory)

maybe the guy who said that meant "Another trade thread where the op doesn't have the games activated in his account." and he/she meant the games op won from giveaways?

he's a low level newbie with empty inventory and only 13 games in his account. he probably thought he can trade games from his library for games from someone's else library. He understood he cannot do that so he has nothing to trade and closed his topic.

I also talked to him on steam, so I knew he had the games activated. That's why. No pm system
