Fruitbats are flying mammals, and I'm preordering all.
Fruitbats 'see' in the dark using a special skill called echolocation. It involves buying after a bundle's release.
Fruitbats are nocturnal (meaning unsure if they should preorder).
There are over 1000 different fruitbat species. Sadly, I own all - no purchase needed.
There are 3 species of pecuniary fruitbats which feed solely on money. I can't afford any of 'em.
Fruitbats can live for over 20 years, and I'm holding off buying for that long.

Games looks good but T3 for $25 pretty steep price for me

Most votes in the poll are for preorders, for a bundle that didn't have preorders.

Hmm. I'm honestly thinking about tier 4 because I really love the devs (I play a lot of OJ). A few wishlist games in tier 3 helps, but I need to think on this a bit.

Costs too much. I'll stick to Divinity: OS 2 :doubt:

It's expensive as far as bundles usually go, but the tier I was interested in (just stuff in tier 3, filled with games that haven't undergone deep discounts during sales and have never been bundled before) was worth it once I totaled up what the games cost individually. Pretty much only worth it for fans of VNs, opposite Sekai Project's humble bundle which was a heckuva deal.

Not enthusiastic about how they handled the last tier, I have to A) hope I remember this bundle in 11-13 days (since they don't give a date you can actually expect Seabed to be available) and B) hope they have enough quantities so that I can get one.

Yeah, plus the $30 tier only benefits early buyers if the $25 tier manages to sell out, because there ain't no way people are paying an additional $23 for one game if they missed the first limited tier. There's not much point of us having to check back so late. Also, people are still paying $30 right now expecting to get Seabed in the future. This bundle is going to be a disaster once they have to start refunding people.

Yeah, I could see this being a fustercluck.
"The last tier is currently not purchasable (it will be at a later time). If you buy this tier right now, you will not see it in your account. We highly suggest you hold out on the tier until it is actually available."

That's what I just saw on the page, not sure if it was there before. Would really suck if they don't honor people who bought the $30 tier earlier, because overall it's really poorly explained what you need to do to have the best chance at getting everything.

Yep, that announcement wasn't there before. They must have just added it. They haven't confirmed if they'll give keys to people that previously paid $30 but I have my doubts. I don't think Fruitbat Factory is gonna wanna give extra keys for an unreleased game that's only $5 more, and I doubt Groupees is going to want to reduce the supply they were planning on adding later during the bundle period so that they can give keys to early buyers. I think the best people can hope for is a refund, but we'll see.

Then again, pretty much all VN's are overpriced and should only be bought in bundles.
And I say that as VN lover eating up those bundles. No way I'll pay the prices they usually ask on Steam.

Most of the really good ones are never bundled, so you'll be waiting a really long time if you don't buy them during sales. The price is so high because it's a niche genre. The 2 high budget/high quality ones that were bundled that I can remember off the top of my head are Steins;Gate (non-steam) and Root Double.

I'd say 90% of the VNs that get bundled are trash, or porn.

Good game offerings, but not at THAT price (25 dollars), so... I regretably have to skip on this bundle.

Was recently in Be Mine 31, so probably too soon to bundle it again. (People are going to go apeshit over $30 tier as it is)

Tier 0 for me too. All tiers are way too expensive, even 1 and 2 for the crap they offer.

I was interested until I saw the price, even as a fan of VNs this is way too much and still would be even under normal circumstances... but. If I had the money to spare that 25/30 bucks would go a looooong way right now on humble bundle due to the massive sale they have going on atm, making this bundle seem like an even worse value than it already is.

Also maybe I just haven't been around long enough but I never thought I'd see a standard game bundle (meaning not counting highest contributor rewards or added physical merchandise) on GROUPEES of all places, for 30 dollars. Even the worst 2 humble monthlies have better value than this (and you'd still have money left over). I understand that not everything can be as cheap as we're sometimes accustomed to from bargain bundles and seasonal sales, but this seems painfully high.

You can buy almost three Humble Bundle Monthlys for $30. With better and more games than here.

You can buy other bundles with them. However, only some of the bundles support this feature.
For example, if you missed a preorder, you might want to purchase the bundle when it's live using your coins instead of your credit card.

But then why not just cap them lower. Having coins worth $16+ when the bundless that take them aren't that much seems pointless. Also apparently they don't get paid for the coin purchases either?

The reason why i buy bundle because they are meant to offer you games for a reasonable price but the price tag is way beyond me on this one. As much as i love to support dev and buy bundles from groupees, imma pass this time. :(

25$ instead of 150 is only 16% - I know it still costs a hefty amount but a -84% discount is leagues better than any Steam sale. (Not like I have 25$ to spend on it :\ )

People are used to bundles being $15 or less or else coming with an absolutely backlog wrecking amount of games, but yeah once I did the math with the games I was interested in (just the VNs at their lowest sale price), I justified my purchase. That said I was still somewhat disappointed this wasn't cheaper (I'll never complain about saving more money), plus the weirdness with the last tier.

i understand the discount , not complaining or anything and tbh, i choose hb monthly or any other bundle on HB just cause they offer games at affordable tiers and games that people are interested in .. but i believe these high tier games of the bundle will end up getting rebundled at some point anyway .. i guess i will wait

With a mixture of games like this, you're going to have a harder time pleasing all customers, even with the 84% off. Someone who doesn't like VNs may only be interested in the other games, someone who prefers bull-hell may only be interested for those, etc. The value drops quickly if you're not interested in every game -- or if you already own a bunch of them.

It's a good deal if you like all the games in the bundle (or fewer for some, I'm sure). Same goes for Humble Monthly - the discount is amazing, but the "value" is subject to taste (I'm only referring to personal value, by the way - they're still good for giveaways).

Oh I absolutely agree, but noone can expect or demand a bundle to be solely one genre :) I'd be only interested in the visual novels in tier 3 (and 4?) not a single game below them :D

My comment wasn't directed at you so much as it was a general observation, and to emphasize the distinction between value and price. Sometimes people equate the two (you didn't here, obviously), especially in the Humble Monthly threads.
