I'm annoying some people with this in chats, but CinemaWins youtube channel bad, okay, good, great movies presented in a way that the objectively, *really* good parts of it are emphasized, be it actor, scene, score, idea, design. It's just brilliantly positive and makes me feel happy while thinking about those movies :)

I don't know what happened that made you feel less awesome as you should, but whatever it is, it has no right to put down your confidence or self-esteem. I know you only a little from these forums, but to me, absolutely none of the negative things you see in yourself right now are true. If there is only one single person in the world that thinks you're awesome, then that's enough. This person might be yourself, or someone else. I doubt though that I will be the only one, considering how much joy you spread on this site. :)

If this happens now and then, at least you know already that it will always go over and get better. :) There's nothing wrong with feeling down now and then either, though. Just like I said, remember that it is just temporary. A little tasty side addition to the dish that is life. Maybe even the pineapple on pizza. Some people don't like that part, others, like us, enjoy it. :)

I was off of it for a period, and I don't think I had done anything to get back on it. The reason I was on it in the first place was because of a misunderstanding.
You were already on my blacklist for a long while, but had been removed from it when I saw that I was no longer on yours. Now that I know I'm back on yours, I just did the same because, as I said to Khazadson, reciprocity. It only seems fair. Considering there are only two people on my blacklist, you are in an exclusive club. smiley face

Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men run was basically what defined them, although it also spans a few hundred issues. God Loves, Man Kills is a pretty good standalone graphic novel from about halfway through his original tenure on the series. There's obviously paperback collections of the important arcs, like the Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past, etc.
Grant Morrison's New X-Men and later Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men sort of set the status quo for the 21st century; introduced a lot of new characters and relationships, a good chunk of which lasted until someone was dumb enough to hand creative control of most of the X-Men universe to people who didn't really care.
Frank Miller's Daredevil is also seminal, although if you want something more modern and a little less dark you could try Bendis' run.
Deadpool's a mixed bag. I enjoyed large chunks of the first volume, as well as Cable and Deadpool, and the newer Duggan/Posehn stuff. Avoid anything with Daniel Way's name on it.
For further X-Men/Deadpool stuff, you could try Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force. Dives kind of deep into some of the X-Men mythology but pretty good. While only really X-Men adjacent, Peter David's X-Factor (volume 3) is a modern enough series that does an impressive job of mixing fun and depressing.
The problem with a lot of the newer Marvel stuff is that every individual book these days is forced to tie into the big universe-wide events, which leads to issues that break up arcs and barely make sense without the larger context. Deadpool and X-Factor have some pretty noticeable ones.
