Hmm, would I play a pinball game?
Actually, when did something like that stop me from buying other bundles? :P

Quite~ got to bundle up a bit more and reach that 1K club. Who really plays all their games anyway? Steam is sorta like Pokemon or something - gotta catch/get em all - even if you just keep them stored in Bill's/Steam's PC.

Not everyone wants any and every shitty game on their Steam account. But sure, a lot or most do.

He is obviously talking about the Marvel tables. :P

I can just imagine Professor X and Jean Grey now...

Yeah, it's really good. I only miss the table nudges - I liked how they allowed to really control the ball in Balls of Steel. In PFX2 you only get 3 nudges (not in sequence, but per ball) and they aren't really helping too much.

Instant-buy. I have a few of the tables already, but there's enough hear to probably do tier 2 on this one. I only have Marvel Originals from the tier 2. This is a great game. I really enjoy it. Some tables are better than others naturally. I think the one that comes free with it is actually one of the best ones.

Very Awesome! ^^ I already own everything available for PFX2, but its always good to enlarge the pinball crowd and get new highscore-hunters in the game ;) And its simply the best Pinball-Game ever made.

(edit: I mean in real life) Pinball tables cost 25 to 50 cents every time to play......hard to call them (steam pinball games) overpriced.
(for any pinball lovers...very cheap...but anyone who doesn't play pinball very much...then you could be right)

^^... but I prefer Pinball Arcade for the simulation and authentic tables. FX2 is good and offers something different though.

These bundles just keep getting better and better!

Looks like the next weekly. Smooth hiding the "cool themed tables" behind the pay-wall, lol. Still that looks like 11 tables for the $1 tier, plus it comes with the Sorcerer table for free anyway. 11+1 tables for a dollar is a lot better than Worms Pinball @ 1 table for $8 (if you didn't get bundle).
Can that really be how the bundle will be priced? It seems like kind of a lot for the below average/ $1 tier.

Nothing wrong with Pinball!
And you think the WB bundle is crap? O.O

They can't provide AAA games in every bundle, they are doing this for charity, not to provide gamers with cheap deals.

i wanted to get that but didn't wanted to pay so much for the tables so i'm waiting for this :D

Meh, pinball has no sense if is not real, much like table tennis and pool.

There's a pretty big gap between pinball and pool in terms of physicality. The only thing obviously not real on virtual tables is nudging, you can get pretty close with the flippers and ball physics.
Depending on where you live, real life table tennis and pool could also be a lot more accessible than real life pinball tables, so there's that.

The lack of nudging is what pretty much kills digital pinballs to me. I mean, half of the skill needed to play pinball is just there.
Of course if in your area there aren't any pinballs available, then that's another story. Unfortunally here pinballs and arcade games in general are disappearing during time. Probably the next generation kids won't even know what's a cabinet.

I don't think I have ever played a virtual pinball game that didn't have nudging.

Great news! I have all the tables already, but members in my Pinball Family group will be happy with this bundle.

^^^ This guy pretty much nailed it. Also Pinball Arcade seems to be based off of real life tables, and the attempt at real world physics is far superior to the more arcade like feel of Pinball FX 2.

PA and PFX seem to be the Pepsi and Coke of the virtual pinball world right now.

Hard to nail down, but I think the Pepsi/Coke comparison fits very well ^^ They are both awesome and pretty much the best Pinball Games in history. Pinball Arcade focuses on rebuilding real-life tables while PFX2 comes with new and original stuff and tries to play around with the possibilities of digital pinball, while still sticking to the basics, wich is very important.. other "experimental" Pinball-Games in the past often lost that special "pinball-magic" and felt more like "just another casual videogame". PFX2 keeps a perfect balance.
I prefer PFX2, but both are very good and its a matter of personal taste.

ah, thanks for the insights everybody. my initial expectation was that PA would be inferior since the base game is free, but hearing that it is quite realistic, possibly better than fx, imma keep pa on my download queue and enjoy both if fx bundle does come out. thx every1

I most probably will buy it at least twice, if not more. (as gifts of course) By the way - they are all available on android (got them on my Nexus 7 - but different tables, Tesla and Excalibur) so it is possible that it will be bundle with android.
And I also buy most of Humble Bundles. Play only the games with cards (or sometimes play is too much said - I install them and leave them running for a night), and uninstall later. I have no idea why do I need almost 200 games on my steam account (and over 100 DLC's, and over 300 games on DVD's and CD's - oldest one was bought be me in 1995, and about 100 games from different on-line stores like GOG and Origin) but still I just buy them. I think it is some kind of mental disease. That's why I don't suffer from mental condition - I enjoy it.

' I have no idea why do I need almost xxxx games on my steam account '
This is normal steam-user evolution, just go with the flow

200 games? and you only buy bundles? That must be like 150 crappy games and 50 or less good ones? Who knows but yes, you do have a mental condition, sorry to say. You can tell by what you typed and how you typed it. Somebody call the Dr., is anyone a Doctor?
