You can try some with emulator maybe, but older one is not recommended because newer one much more polished in gameplay and other aspects.

Super Robot Taisen... Why does that sound familiar... I think I might have played a playstation version but I honestly don't remember. Either way, I honestly don't believe its coming to PC cause its japan and they don't ever do that.

Well, SRT is combination of robots including but not specific to Gundam, so I think Gundam fit SRT.

Yeah sorry I honestly didn't know exactly how similar it was, I was just looking at the photos you included and assumed cause it was very similar to the Gundam games I played on the PS3

NDS game? You mean Endless Frontier? That's a great game, albeit of a whole different genre.
The main series was never localized outside Japan because typical game of the series includes very vast variety of characters and mechs from different mecha franchises (Mazinger, Gundam, Macross, Evangelion, Full Metal Panic, Layzner, Ideon, Daibuster, etc.). These franchises have different rightholders outside Japan who never will be able to reach an agreement.
There is Original Generetion branch of SRT, which included only original characters and mechs. It was much easier to release in the West, so some of those got an English release.
There are some fan translations, check Aeon Genesis site for them

SRT Original series has a few cool designs. I'm still more of a sucker for Mazinger though (got to give some credit to the series that defined the genre, after Tatsujin-28 and Giant Robo prototyped it)
If you like both Transformers and Super Robot series, see if you can get a hold of the Brave series. That was designed to be a hybrid between the 2.

I knew Brave series, most Brave pilots are younger though.

I like robots, But I think I am confused on SRT, those are mechs like with people in them controlling them? I am out on mechs, unless they are that real life one, actually I think there are two now and they are supposed to fight it out.

Most SRT robots have pilot, but some pure AI.
SRT is much more diverse than Transformers in this case.

I'm assuming you mean the older cartoons of transformers which are, in many ways, too awkward to watch. I'd bet most of the love for transformers these days is nostalgia.

I like Transformers too, I guess people will know more about Transformers than Super Robot Taisen because it's more popular.
Problem with Super Robot Taisen is because it kinda exclusive to Japanese and gamers.
of course they tried to localized but they localized the low quality version (NDS version) it much better in PS2/ PS3 era I forgot with better visual, better music and have voice.
SRT is very popular in Japan though and they already release more than 80+ SRT games (from the same dev Bandai/ Banpresto), you know Final Fantasy right even including spin offs FF not even come close in number.
