Are steam gifts trade banned after purchase?

Im not 100% sure if you can trade it directly but i know from fact that you can send it as a gift.

steam restricts all gifts from being used in a steam trade for 30 days after their original purchase date. however, you can still use the ‘send a gift’ feature to send this game to a friend at any time.

You can still gift people games, but you can't put it in a trade window. Gifts can't be traded for 30 days.
