Suggestion: Can we have a real forum, please?

Things I can think of that would be improvements:

  • Post tracking, post history, being able to subscribe to lengthy threads
  • Private messaging
  • Threads auto-closing after a set amount of time, e.g. 3 months to prevent necroing (e: didn't know this is already in)
  • Sub discussion groups, such as Q&A (help and support), news (for bundle announcements and greenlight discussions), etc. which would result in less clutter
  • Thread tagging for easier search

Some integration of SG Plus features into the main site would also be useful, such as comment tracking by unique ID.

I see people who come to this forum every day. I'd love to hear their opinions on what should be improved.

ETA: Yes, I'm serious.

All I want is a feature that will search automatically threads that are similar to the one you're trying to create, avoiding dozens of "Why can't I give Dota 2?"

I agree on the layout. That's awesome. Having a distinct lack of features that makes up most forums on the internet today, though, is not awesome.

i agree that there are some feature that should be implemented, but overall layout as Ignition said and i agree is much better then other forums.

That's the puzzle. Well, not really a puzzle and more of a stab in the dark because a friend told me that I should make a super hard puzzle for a link and I'm not a very good puzzle solver/maker so I decided that making an impossible puzzle is better than not doing anything at all.

I'm sure it isn't worth the effort though. You already have the game. Like everyone else.

Actually no, I thought that with "ink" and the right keywords inklewriter would be on the first page or so since I knew it had some decent press both games-wise and non-games-wise last year. Turns out it doesn't have nearly half the SOE I thought it did.

I feel like I'll only be wasting support's time by opening another ticket that I know they can't answer. Bouncing ideas around the community seemed more productive.
