Should I get Far Cry 3?

Depends on how much you want it. If you feel it's worth $30, get it. If not, wait until it is cheaper. If you're asking, you probably have doubts yourself. There are probably other awesome games you could play while you wait for another price drop.

Its more FPS with a few touches of RPG sprinkled in it, Its very fun though.

Its a mix of stealth, Rambo,and exploring in an open world, has a pretty alright story mode, nice features like hunting and upgrading stuff. Gorgeous looking game to boot.

I just got it, it's awesome (it starts off really strong, I love games with good beginnings). It's one of the most demanding games I have though, so you might want to look that specs before you buy =)

I live in Australia and the franchise pack with Farcry 3 deluxe and the other two is 39.99 and I'm not going to be installing it until at least May. Do you guys think that I should wait until the summer sale and see if its cheaper then?

I was sceptical at it as I had started to get tired of generic FPS games, but this is great. Best game of 2012. It's basically Just Cause 2 in First Person, without the grappling hook, and more to do. (Or skyrim for guns, I've heard. I haven't played Skyrim)

It has satisfying exploration and you'll stumble into countless awesome situations. If you like to get sidetracked in a good way while you roam the island doing missions then you will love Far Cry 3. There is so much to do and the island is a huge and beatiful playground.

It's not terribly that you not played in previous games of farcry, this game is not just contact for farcry 1 and 2 and they was pretty bad ...

If you ask me, you should buy, especially when you have such a large discount

How would you say Far Cry 3 does compared to Bordelands 2? Is the gameplay and quality similar?
