Does someone know good free co-op games

Lately I wanted to play some 2-player coop games with my friend but I couldn't find any good free coop maybe someone on the forum can help

Spiral Knights is a decent co-op mmo thing... Free and good and co-op are hard to come by sadly.

I'll start with a game that isn't free, but can guaruntee you tons of fun and playing time - GMOD
The best free game I've come across would probably be Planetside 2.
